The Lethal Lure Campaign was designed as a tool to educate the general public and elected officials about the many tactics the tobacco industry uses to target youth and adults at the point of sale. This includes intense marketing and advertising, price promotions and discounts, product placement and location of product sales (near schools, parks, playgrounds and in pharmacies) as well as new and under regulated products (such as e-cigarettes, little cigars, menthol and other flavored tobacco products and hookah).
